On February 3, 2021, Dr. Mike Piero facilitated a discussion about video games and systemic racism as part of Cuyahoga Community College’s Let’s Talk About It series. Titled “Playing the Game (of Life) on Hard Mode: Racism in Video Games and our Discussions about Games,” the presentation delved into how video games respond to, reproduce, and challenge ongoing systemic racism in America.
