Dr. Piero was invited to give a workshop in Ohio State University’s Preparing Future Faculty Doctoral Workshop Series, “From First-Generation College Student to Tenured Professor: Building a Career at a Community College.” October 19, 2021. In this session, he talked about his own career path to becoming a tenured English professor at Cuyahoga Community College, Ohio’s largest and oldest community college and answered questions about community college teaching careers.
