An interview with the incredible Patrick Hickey Jr. at ReviewFix.com just dropped about my and Marc A. Ouellette‘s edited collection with McFarland & Company, Inc., Publishers, Being Dragonborn: Critical Essays on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (https://mcfarlandbooks.com/product/being-dragonborn/)! Published in 2021, this book of essays about Skyrim is just as relevant as it’s ever been. Perhaps even more so with yesterday’s surprise release from Bethesda Game Studios of the remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (https://elderscrolls.bethesda.net/en-US/oblivion-remastered)!
Check out the interview here.
I’m most grateful to Pat for featuring Being Dragonborn and for the space to share my ongoing enthusiasm about the volume. If you love video games, also check out his amazing book series of interviews with game developers, The Minds Behind the Games: https://reviewfix.com/books-by-patrick-hickey-jr/
If you’re interested in critical approaches to thinking about video games, also take a look at my upcoming debut novel, Rogue Burnout, repped by Mark Gottlieb at Trident Media Group.
Let me know what you think!
